The senior operation engineer shall provide specialized expertise within process related issued and operational issues within the District Operations department.
Location: Hammerfest (Stavanger and sites)
Main accountabilities and responsibilities:
During the OR&A period , provide knowledge and experience within operational issues as maintenance and operational contracts, operational requirements and procedures.
During the operational phase ensure that the subsea systems can be operated with sufficient flow assurance "safety margins" and that the topside process system are managed accordingly.
Ensure that clear operating procedures are developed and adopted during all operational phases.
Main tasks:
During the OR&A phase:
- Provide knowledge and experience in the development of operational contracts.
- Ensure operational requirements are fulfilled during the building and handover phase.
- Participate in the development of the Operational simulator where required.
- Identify and take part in the development of operational procedures.
During the Operational phase:
- Ensure that the subsea systems can be operated with sufficent flow assurance "safety margins" and that the topside process system are managed accordingly.
- Ensure flow assurance support for subsea and topside FPSO equipment when required.
- Provide OLGA simulation support when required.
- Ensure clear operating procedures are developed and adopted during all operational phases (Wax operating, hydrate procedures etc).
- Ensure all procedures support solutions that complies with local requirements for zero discharges during normal production mode.
- Ensure that the plants equipment are operated within and in accordance with internal and external requirements and maintenance concepts. Continuously follow–up of its performance, availability, capacity and regularity
- Ensure assurance of the professional content in maintenance concepts, within O&M, by cooperation with D&T in development and improvement of the concepts. Criticality assessment included.
- Ensure transmission of experience and standardization within own discipline area, crosswise system and plant
- Participate in handling of non-conformities pertaining to the different technical disciplines
- Participate in investigations after incidents and accidents
Languages:
Norwegian, English
Required experience:
10 years of oil and gas industry experience.
7 years of production and maintenance experience
Required knowledge, technical or professional skills:
- Have in-depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations and standards required for above mentioned area
- Experience with the development of operational contracts
- Experience with the development of operational procedures
- Experience with multiphase flow and hydrate, wax production.
- Plant Management, Plant Prod Optimization
- Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity
- Knowledge and experience within operation of Utilities , Mechanical , Piping , Water Injection ,process and subsea
Personal Competencies:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong team player with proactive approach to the decision making process
- Good in problem solving issues
- Be able to establish good communication (both internally and externally)
