Goliat enhances comptence in Hasvik and Måsøy

Eni Norge is working with Hasvik and Måsøy municipalities to set up digital classrooms that will be used for distance learning using real-time audio and video transfer. The Goliat operator is investing in modern, top quality technology, the municipalities are providing the premises. The total value of the investment is between two and three million Norwegian kroner.

Investing millions in oil spill contingency equipment in Finnmark

PRESS RELEASE: The oil industry has signed contracts with three suppliers for the purchase of new oil spill contingency equipment to protect the coast of Finnmark. 75 per cent of these investments will go to companies from northern Norway. Collaboration on new oil spill response task force

The Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies (NOFO) and Arctic Protection AS, a maritime contingency services supplier, are currently establishing a task force to combat serious incidents of oil pollution in nearshore areas.

The task force, which is a fresh initiative in the field of oil spill protection, will be recruited from Finnmark.
