Practical projects combined with theoretical understanding
”I feel lucky to get this chance”, says Benedikte Stock.
She is one of Eni Norge’s six first apprentices. When she has completed her apprenticeship she aims to start a career as a process operator on the Goliat field. Process operators are responsible for monitoring, regulating and controlling production.
The following interview is in Norwegian only.
How does the apprenticeship work?
An experienced technician, together with the technical manager, will be responsible for your practical training in the discipline in question, and will assume responsibility for you and your technical development. They will also help you get to know the working environment and your colleagues. The combination of practical projects and theoretical understanding is important to enable you to get the most out of your traineeship.
Questions and answers about apprenticeships
