By means of its activities and its support programme, Eni Norge intends to promote increased settlement, activity, and skills and expertise development in the communities where we carry out our operations.
Eni Norge's involvement with, and commitment to, local communities is no coincidence. Both Eni Norge and all other Eni companies are continuing the traditions of the company as a whole, which are characterised by a respect for the environment, the cultural heritage, and the people who live in the locations where we carry out our work.
With Marulk in the Norwegian Sea, and Goliat in the Barents Sea, Eni Norge is now involved in large scale operations in northern Norway. It is important for Eni to promote settlement in these areas, and we want to make a contribution towards encouraging people – both residents and those thinking of moving to the area to settle.
It isn’t just good and interesting job opportunities that determine where people decide to settle down. Many other factors play a role, including the conditions for bringing up a family, infrastructure, recreational opportunities and, not least, cultural events.
In order to meet our aspirations that the region shall become an attractive one to work in, Eni Norge is participating in important activities taking place in local communities in northern Norway.
