Oil spill protection measures in Arctic areas
Eni Norge and Statoil have joined forces to create a portal containing information about oil spill protection strategies in the Arctic areas.

Eni Norge is working continually to further develop its oil spill protection strategy in order to ensure that we have robust contingency plans which are well adapted to local conditions.

Eni Norge's work is based on a four-barrier principle;

  1. On the field (risk reducing measures)
  2. In the open ocean (Nofo barrier 1 and 2)
  3. Along the coast
