Eni Norge has been part of the story of the Norwegian petroleum industry since the very beginning in 1965. Our goals are to carry out our operations safely and with minimal negative impact on the environment, and to create wealth for our shareholders and society as a whole.
An active exploration strategy for new resources and the safeguarding of optimal levels of production from existing fields together form a solid foundation for the continued forward development of our company. To achieve these goals, the enthusiastic and expert personnel we have within our organisation represent our most important tool.
Sustained growth depends on access to new areas for exploration, and on whether we can develop and produce the new resources we find. We base our activities on exploration, the purchase or trade of licence interests, and the development of producing fields, including the use of advanced technologies for enhanced oil recovery. Research and development contributes towards the discovery of new, safer and cleaner systems. Challenges as well as opportunities are key factors influencing an organisation’s abilities both to maintain high levels of performance and to recruit and hold on to the best people. To remain in the forefront during a period in which the petroleum industry is finding new opportunities all around the world, we must be competitive.
The Norwegian petroleum industry is a demanding arena, but it is also fascinating and profitable. We have been part of this industry from the beginning and we intend to play a key role for many years to come.
As part of our strategy of transparency and access for all, most of the information on this website will in future also be made available in accordance with guidelines set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
